When was the last time you took a Himalayan Salt bath? Or went for a walk in the woods? Or read a book just for fun? Or consciously rub lotion on the body, not just slapping it on before you rush out the door?
Taking care of the body, mind and soul are so important for us to do not only on a daily basis, but several times a day. When we create an intimate relationship with the body, mind and soul we are creating a completely different level of connection with ourselves. A connection that is rich in love, compassion and care.
When I take the time to pamper myself I can feel the energy rise with in the body. My thinking changes and I feel good about the time I spent on just me. As a woman in my society I find it is not very acceptable to take extra care of myself. Oh, sure it is great if I put night cream on right before I go to bed, but what about taking an afternoon to meet with people who stretch my imagination? Which I totally love.
When I allow myself permission to grow, I notice the grey hair slows down and my eyes seem to be brighter. When was the last time you paid attention to the detail of your eyes, sure you know the color of your eyes, but when was the last time you really looked at your eyeballs and noticed all the different colors in them that make up the main color?
When you look beyond the face, beyond the color of your eyes, down into the depth of the darkness of the eyes center. What do you see? I encourage you to share what you see in the comments section below.

In a recent post on Facebook by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer which is a panel discussion with Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and Dr. David Agus, the question was posed: What would be the most important thing you can do for yourself in relation to personal health? Deepak Chopra and Friends Q&A with Dr. Susan Desmond-Hellmann
The combined three answers were: know yourself, love yourself and observe your thoughts.
So I asked myself what am I putting into my body and is it sustaining the level of spiritual energy that I need to do my work?
HHHmmmm….really, this is not a question I want to think about. If you know me, you already know how much I dislike cooking. Mainly because it is such a chore to create a menu that is balanced. I am not creative when it comes to food, so I have created a thinking pattern that it is a chore.
For me, if it takes more than 10 minutes to make a meal it is too long. Now I am the first to admit my fault in this thinking, but when something becomes a chore it is very hard for me to do it.
In listening to the discussion my biggest take away was: Each expressed the importance to do the research and to use your own common sense when it comes to what we put into our bodies. To become self aware seems to be a daunting task in this portion of my life.
“Course correction” was one of the words used quite frequently with this discussion panel and it seemed to resonate with me as well. The words they referred to explain these words: to continuously correct the course your on, to challenge what you know and to change to how you feel. If you feel sluggish, find food that makes you feel energetic. Wow, what logic….duh, why didn’t I think of that!
Is is my duty, my right and my obligation to search or reach for help if I feel inadequate in an area, so I reached to my friend and co-worker Teresa Schlup, a nutrition coach for help. Her first question to me was, “What is my goal in becoming more nutritiously aware?” My answer was to change the body to sustain the spiritual energy level for my work. When those words actually came out of my mouth, I have to admit I was stunned, even though I had thought about it before, I never actually spoke it out loud.
So, I am now on a path of course correction around food, I am slowly changing my thinking to reflect love, care, nutrition, compassion and energy. I love the work I do and when the body is telling me that some days it is not able to sustain the energy level needed for a full day of work, then I really need to take a look at myself and change what needs to be changed. So today I am committed to change the energy level! Any one want to join me?

Recently I was asked “How do I manifest something?” If you have watched “The Secret” you probably already know how to manifest, if you have not watched the movie I highly recommend it.
What I know about my own manifesting style is that once I set my intention and send it to the universe I must be willing and able to receive what I am asking for. For me, this is the most important part of manifesting something I want. My Mother always told me to be careful what I wished for because it just might come true. Words of wisdom! Because once I set my intention am I really ready to receive all the good and the bad that comes with what I am asking for? We live in a dual world and there are always positives and negatives with every action and every decision. So before I set an intention I ask myself, “Am I really ready to receive?” Am I ready to do what it takes to manifest what I am asking for? Is this really something I can do, no matter the cost?
One thing I do before I begin to manifest or set my intention or create a vision board or create a wish box is to really ask myself if this is truly what I want? Always asking for angel or God guidance to tell me if this is for my highest good? Can I grow and help others if I set this intention? Will this allow me to be free of something and to grow personally?
Manifesting is simple, just ask for what you want. And then get out of your own way, because the universe will deliver. It may not deliver in the manner you have created in your mind, but it will answer all your requests.
So dream big! Manifest your dreams and desires; it is your right to do so. Ask, and you shall receive! Just be sure you are ready for what is to come.

About a year ago my family was forced to clean out the belonging of my Mom and Dad, while doing so I came across my Dad’s metal water witching rods. I immediately grabbed them and asked if anyone else was interested in them, no one wanted the rusty old things so I took them home. Not knowing why I would even want such rusted old things, I placed them on a ledge in the sunroom of my house. I am not a collector of old items, but for some reason these rods called out to me and I just had to have them. I remember my Dad bringing them out of the shed once in a while to find water and to show off his unbelievable talent in using them, they were very intriguing to me.
Recently, I saw a class on dowsing and immediately signed up. This is a year of exploring and learning (or rather remembering) for me. I went to class expecting to learn how to clear a house of energies that do not belong to the owners of the home. What I learned went way beyond a simple clearing.
Dowsing is really about getting in touch with the energies that not only live all around us but the divine energy that lives within us. It is so much more than using rods to find energy, it is about understanding your thoughts and actions and how everything works together to create the lives we want to live. When we allow stress to come into our lives we fill and surround ourselves with weakening energies. When we fill and surround ourselves with positive thoughts and actions we fill our lives with healing, joyful energies.
My first dowsing I did for my husband’s parents, they are both very ill and I wanted to make sure that they were living in a positive energy filled area. I must admit I did find energies that did not belong to them, which I healed, cleared and sent to the light. What I really found was beautiful angel energy waiting to transition my father-in-law to the ether world. It was such a beautiful experience.
It was very comforting to me to find such a peaceful and joyous presence in their home. I have talked with my father-in-law a few times about death and dying and it was almost overwhelming to know that an angel is there to help in the process.
I find it ironic that I would be writing this piece at Christmas, the time of birth and only a few days after the winter solstice. I’m sure there is a bigger understanding waiting for my family and I, but for now I will just rejoice in the knowing that there is always an angelic energy with us when we transition.
I am so grateful for learning all about dowsing and am ready to share the benefits of energy finding with all of you. I will be adding it to the many energy healings I do, if you are interested in having your home dowsed please send an e-mail to angelablaha005@gmail.com
Blessings to you all!
