My family has been touched by death yet again. Within the last year and a half I have lost three parents. Both of my parents and now my husband’s father. Each time death has been so different. One death totally unexpected and two we knew were coming, yet one is never really prepared for the final breath.
With each death I ask, what am I to learn? I am not afraid of death, in fact I am somewhat excited for their rebirth and the freeing of this body. It is very hard to watch people suffer, and it really doesn’t matter if it is their body suffering or mental pain, watching suffering takes a toll on the living as well as the dying.
I have witnessed the soul rising from the body several times and there is definitely a visual (the soul moving out of the body) when the soul leaves. I accompanied my father-in-law on a shamanic journey just a few days prior to his souls passing and he was very surprised about all the options we have. How death is so negotiable. There isn’t just a heaven or hell, it’s not black or white. He asked several times why we are not taught about the different worlds. I really did not have an answer for him, and his question has been on my mind ever since.
What I have learned about life recently is that we do not live our purpose. Many keep themselves caged, fear of being our authentic selves. We need to do the following:
- To celebrate, celebrate each moment.
- To live your souls path, allowing your soul to shine.
- To love, yourself and others like you have never loved before.
- Live in the present moment, because you are not living this life if you are constantly worried (living in the future) or living in depression (living in the past).
- To find peace now and death will be peaceful.
The soul has been my main focus for some time now. I do many soul readings for people and I have found it very intriguing yet sad how many souls are kept captive or hidden, not allowed to shine, to love unconditionally. As people we need to start living, learning our lessons along the way, enjoying every moment. Death is a gift, no matter how hard. Death is a new birth yet we treat it like a plague. My final words are to celebrate life, death and all the lessons along the way, because life really is a gift.

Do you ever feel like you are just off the grid of life? That’s the way I am feeling lately. I guess I could blame it on Mercury or the new moon, but it would be just someplace to lay my blame. When I am in the flow, there is a certain connection with God/Spirit/Soul and a certain connection with people, whether they are family, friends or enemies. Lately, I have not felt that connection and it leaves me feeling a bit on the lonely side. Not really a feeling I enjoy!
The last week or so I have just felt so disconnected not only with other humans but with my soul as well. Not being connected to my soul is much more disturbing to me than not feeling connected with other human’s. I have been working on seeing the universe as an illusion and reading all the time about how everything is not how we visually see it with our eyes. I have been practicing the new thought system and I can tell that I have been changing which would make sense as to the disconnecting feeling.
As I am writing this I am asking myself how do I get the connection back. This is what I am hearing from my soul.
Relax ~ time is simply an illusion as well. There is no need to rush things or to think that time is rushing by or there are so many things to do. You have many lifetimes still available to follow yours souls path. (I chuckle at this because I have been feeling like I need to rush)
Do what you know ~ Do your practices each and every day. It seems that practices are conditional, like when I want an answer for something or am searching for a direction. Regular meditation, prayer and gratitude practices should be done everyday, no excuses. Oohhh…..and don’t expect anything! Because when you least expect something, it always shows up.
Trust ~ trust that if you are feeling disconnected, there is a very good reason for the disconnect. You will get back on board soon enough. Simply trust in the process, yourself, and God. Everything is in divine timing.
So, with that being said. I guess I am to be disconnected for a bit, so that my thinking system may catch up with what is my journey. All the while I will continue to ask if anything needs to be healed, just in case there is something I can do to speed the process up a little.
So the next time your feeling off the grid, just know that we all go through this feeling. Give yourself some time, do your practices and trust that the feeling of connectedness will soon be back.
Love & Light to all. Angie

Do you ever feel like time is just slipping away? Today is my birthday and I feel as if I haven’t done enough this year. Can you relate?
Ugh. I just hate it when I feel this way! The feeling of powerlessness, that I’m not doing enough to help others. I am on the verge of creating or rather partnering with some very powerful women to create something spectacular, however it just seems like things cannot move fast enough. I get caught up in the energy of creation and then the ego comes in and instead of putting down the creative work bluntly, it’s trick is to create feelings of inadequacy.
I have been reading and studying “A Course in Miracles” for well over a year now. If you are not familiar with the study, it is Jesus’ non-edited version of how we are to live our lives. Along with A Course in Miracles I am reading “The Disappearance of the Universe,” in which Saint Thomas and Saint Thaddaeus, who appear to Gary Renard. While Thomas and Thaddaeus reconfirm and even offer suggestions to overcome the ego and other aspects of life, the ego sometimes sneaks in. Anyway, these two books have changed my life and in the mean time have subsided the ego and it’s threat to control. With that being said, every now and then it creeps in and tries to sabotage my creativeness. Yesterday it began to raise its crazy head and feed me with such nonsense.
So I have been on a mission of releasing over the past two days. What I have noticed is that I have hurried out of bed, not saying my usual prayers and gratitude’s. Nor have I been journeying or meditating on a regular basis, only doing it when I think I have time. Up until now the ego has not been visible to me or at least I have not noticed it until yesterday.
My first rule about release is to do my practices each and every day. No matter what it is vital to stay connected to spirit everyday. Being connected keeps me strong. I have found that the ego knows when my strength is weak and it creeps in when I am vulnerable. My second rule, when the ego has found the week spot, is to meditate to release it. I journeyed this morning and found it to be a huge relief of the ego and its thoughts. In fact my power animal allowed me to fly with him and to remind me that everything is possible. My third rule, is to do something that gets me excited which further releases the ego thought.
Learn from my mistakes, do your practices everyday no matter how busy you think you are. If you have not yet created a practice to stay connected to spirit, now is a great time to do so.
